At Tech Up 3D, we strive to provide high-quality products and services. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, this Returns & Refund Policy explains how returns, refunds, and exchanges are handled.

This policy is aligned with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.

1. Return Eligibility

You may request a return if:

  • The product was delivered damaged
  • The product is defective
  • The incorrect product was delivered
  • The product is unused and in its original packaging

Return requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving the product.

Tech Up 3D reserves the right to inspect returned items before approving a refund or replacement.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned unless they are defective:

  • Opened consumables such as 3D printing filaments or resins
  • Custom-made products
  • 3D printed parts produced on demand
  • Laser engraved or personalized items
  • Products damaged due to misuse or improper handling

3. Damaged or Defective Products

If you receive a product that is damaged or defective:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  2. Provide:
    • Order number
    • Photos of the product
    • Description of the issue

Once confirmed, we may offer:

  • replacement product
  • repair
  • refund

4. Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Email info@techup3d.com
  2. Include:
    • Your order number
    • Reason for return
    • Photos if applicable

Once the return is approved, instructions will be provided for returning the item.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrectly supplied.

5. Refunds

Once the returned product has been received and inspected, Tech Up 3D will notify you of the refund status.

If approved, refunds will be processed through the original payment method.

Refund processing time may take 5–10 business days, depending on the payment provider.

6. Exchanges

We may offer exchanges for:

  • Defective items
  • Incorrectly delivered products

Exchanges are subject to product availability.

7. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before the product has been shipped.

Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled and will need to follow the standard return process.

Custom orders and personalized items cannot be cancelled once production has started.

8. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases where:

  • The wrong product was delivered
  • The product was defective
  • The product was damaged during shipping
